Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently process wavelet transformation by vectorizing it.
SOLUTION: The wavelet transformation for each line vector of matrix data is first vectorized in the column direction (S1) and a vector processing is performed (S2) by a vector computer. Next, a transformation result is replaced (S3), the wavelet transformation for each line vector of the replaced matrix is vectorized in the column direction (S4) and the vector processing is performed (S5). A result of two-dimensional wavelet transformation is obtained in this way.
