Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely suppress the damage of the viscera of poultry by strongly grasping the esophagus of poultry between both of half parts when the half part of a treating member is rotated from the first position to the second position thereby preventing the gullet from sliding. CONSTITUTION: The gullet of poultry is strongly grasped between both of the half parts when the half part of the treating member is rotated from the first position to the second position. When the treating member and a viscera removing body are moved outside from the poultry when the half part of the treating member is at this position, the gullet is not slid with respect to the treating member and directly separated from the neck part of the poultry. Then large force is not added to the viscera of the poultry to surely prevent the damage of the viscera.
