To break a bag packed with resource refuse and then to surely separate and recover the fragments from the refuse.
This device is provided with a belt conveyor 1 for conveying ahead the fragments A of a broken bag and resource refuse B along a conveying path 1A and a recovery section 2 for recovering the refuse B dropped from the end of the path 1A. An endless mesh belt 7 moving forward on a lower path 7A is laid between the part before the end of the path 1A above the conveyor 1 and the part behind the end. An attracting means 10 for attracting the fragments A to the lower face of the belt 7 on the lower path 7A is provided in the range extending from the part close to the end of the path 1A to the part before the recovery section 2. A recovery section 11 for recovering the fragments A dropped because the attraction of the means 10 is not exerted thereon is furnished before the recovery section 2 and below the belt 7. The path 7A of the belt 7 is bent at its intermediate part. The bend T of the path 7A is confronted with the upper part of the recovery section 2.
