To provide a sterilizing device which is not required to stop as much as possible even when an over-current flows in a sterilizing treatment part.
The device is provided with a current measuring instrument 24 for measuring a pulse current IP which flows in the sterilizing treatment part 10 with the supply of a pulse voltage VP from a pulse power source 18 and with a controller 20a for receiving a measurement signal from the instrument 24. The controller 20a judges whether or not the pulse current IP measured by the instrument 24 is the over-current being larger than a prescribed value and executes interlock-control for stopping the pulse power source 18 and a liquid supply pump 6 when it continuously detects that the number of the over- currents is larger than that of shots being reference.
