PURPOSE: To enable stable intermittent supply of viscous liquid by fitting a piston having piston rods of different diameters at both end surfaces in a casing to form two chambers, and communicating both chambers with each other through a communicating path which is formed on a piston rod and freely opened and closed.
CONSTITUTION: In case of feeding viscous liquid 1, the liquid 1 is supplied from a supply port 9 into a cylinder chamber 8a with required pressure corresponding to the viscosity of the liquid. At this time, a valve element 13c formed on a valve rod 13 is pressed to a valve seat 11c by the force of a spring 17b to be closed and communicating holes 12a, 12b are opened, so that the liquid 1 flows in a cylinder chamber 8b through a space 21a and a communicating path 21b and a piston 7 is moved up by a difference in pressure receive area. Pressurized air is supplied to an air cylinder chamber 18 by opening a control valve 20a when the piston 7 is moved up and then stopped to move down the piston 7 against a spring 17b. Thus the valve element 13c is separated from the valve seat 11c to discharge the liquid 1 through a liquid discharge pipe 15.
