PURPOSE: To make it possible to efficiently select washed bean granules, by making a drying and selecting device which is set in the downstream of a bean granule washer and consists of a hot air blowing box and an air-permeable bean flowing plate on the top of the box.
CONSTITUTION: A drying and selecting device B which is set at the bean granule outlet side of a bean granule washer A consists of a box 14 equipped with a hot air generating device 16 and an air-permeable bean flowing plate 15 slantingly laid on an unmoved conveyer above the box. The bean flowing plate 15 has a thin, long and narrow shape so that bean granules W on the plate can be selected by hand. The bean granules W flowing down on the bean flowing plate 15 are selected by an operating standing by the plate.
