Abstract:
To provide a dielectrics barrier discharge lamp that can demonstrate a high electromagnetic radiation noise prevention effect by effectively cutting off electromagnetic radiation noise.
The dielectrics barrier discharge lamp C1 comprises an arc tube 1 and an external tube 2 covering the arc tube 1. The arc tube 1 comprises a discharge vessel 12, and an internal electrode 13 is provided in the discharge vessel 12 and an external electrode 17 is provided on the outer face of the discharge vessel 12. Then, a metal mesh 3 for cutting off the electromagnetic noise emitted from the arc tube 1 is provided all over the circumference of the external tube 2.
