Title:
DIGITAL ELECTRONIC CONTROL FOR GAS TURBINE ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0249934
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To gain access to a RAM in the captioned control in a remote position easily by converting digital data into analog format with a D/A converter in the captioned control, and transmitting the covered data to a recording device remote from the control.

CONSTITUTION: A digital electronic control 1 for controlling a plurality of actuators of a gas turbine engine for aircraft (extractor door, variable stator vane, etc.), comprises a microprocessor 64, a RAM 66 and D/A converters 60A-60F. Analog signals converted by using D/A converters 60E, 60F beside D/A converters 60A-60D used to drive the actuators are fed to a recording device such as a strip chart recorder 68 via a transmission line 67. An interface 73 in the form of a computer arranged in a location remote from the control 1 is given instructions to transmit data to the D/A converters through the microcompressor 64.
