To provide a digital mobile object communication system with which transmission line costs per carrier can be reduced.
This system is provided with base stations 10 to 12 and exchange stations 14 and 16 to communicate with the base stations while using time division multiplexed slots. When the quantity of information to be transmitted from the base station to the exchange station is less than a prescribed value, the base station transmits voice information, control information and synchronizing signal to the exchange station while containing them in a single slot and when the quantity of information to be transmitted from the base station to the exchange station is more than the prescribed value, the base station transmits the voice information, control information and synchronizing signal to the exchange station while adding them in different slots.
