Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a test period and costs at the time of a functional change and to prevent an erroneous program change.SOLUTION: A digital protection controller 100 comprises: an analog/digital conversion section 1; a nonvolatile memory 23 as a first storage section; and an arithmetic processing unit 21. The analog/digital conversion section converts electrical quantity from an electric power system into digital quantity. The memory stores configuration information 200 of hardware and functions of the digital protection controller and a program for protection control 230. The arithmetic processing unit operates the digital quantity output from the analog/digital conversion section in accordance with the program for protection control. The program for protection control consists of a plurality of division programs 231 and 232 divided corresponding to the functions possessed by the digital protection controller 100 and includes the configuration information 2310 and 2320 of the hardware and the functions to which individual ones thereof correspond.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
