Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable molten metal at a low position to e hoisted and facilitate the replacing work of a fire-proof pipe, by setting inductors horizontally on the bottom section of the protective fire-proof material of W-shaped cross section, and by combining the material with a separate fire-proof pipe. CONSTITUTION:The cross section of inductor-protecting fire-proof material 2a is formed almost in a W-shape with an upwardly concaved section on the central section of the bottom section. On the bottom section of the both sides of the inductor-protecting fire-proof material 2a, a pair of inductors 1a re horizontally set. Into the concave section on the bottom section of the inductor- protecting fire-proof material 2a, a fire-proof pipe 3a formed as a separate body different from the fire-proof material 2a is inserted, and through a molten- metal-passing hole 4a formed inside the pipe 3a, molten metal is hoisted. As the result, the lowest action level of the electromagnetic induction force can be lowered, and molten metal at a low position can be hoisted. The fire-proof pip 3a can be easily replaced.
