Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direction change device which can easily be maintained.SOLUTION: A direction change device 1 for branching carrying directions of articles comprises roller units 6 having plural rollers 5 for carrying articles by rotating and roller brackets 41 for rotatably supporting the rollers 5 around a rotation axis in a longitudinal direction, and holding plates 4 for turnably holding the roller units 6 around a turning axis in a vertical direction. Also, it comprises driving shafts 12 rotating around a rotation axis in a horizontal direction, and driving belts 13 wound around the rollers 5 and the driving shafts 12 to transmit a driving force of the driving shafts 12 to the rollers 5. Further, it comprises rotation means for rotating the rollers 5. The holding plates 4 allow the driving belts 13 to rotatably move and turnably move at least at one of a forward path side and a return path side of the driving belts 13 and have an opening part for spatially connecting the forward path side and the return path side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
