PURPOSE: To enhance productivity and reliability of a disc by keeping an area surrounding a pressure fixed surface of a disc stamper coated with photo-setting resin and a base in the vacuum state.
CONSTITUTION: A base 3 is retained in a base retaining section 4, and the base 3 is deflected by sucking air from an air suction inlet 12. Photo-setting type resin 6 on a disc stamper 5 is brought into contact with the deflected base 3 by rising a stamper fixing table 5, and the base 3, the disc stamper 5 and photo-setting type resin 6 are bonded closely together by rising further, and then the air between a cylinder 2 and the stamper fixing table 9 is released from an air exhaust outlet 13 by means of an exhausting hose 10 and a vacuum pump 11. An area surrounding the base 3, the disc stamper 5 and photo-setting type resin 6 bonded together is vacuumized. As the cylinder 2 is made of glass material of high permeation rate to ultraviolet rays, ultraviolet rays are irradiated from an ultraviolet irradiation device 1 to the photo-setting type resin 6 when the area is vacuumized. The photo-setting type resin 6 between the base 3 and the disc stamper 5 is completely cured leaving no uncured sections by said arrangement.
