Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharging apparatus capable of early and reliably detecting erroneous discharge of a sheet by widening a detection range for a discharged sheet.SOLUTION: A discharging apparatus includes: a discharge table 52 on which sheets S can be stacked; a discharge belt 51 which discharges the printed sheets S on the discharge table 52; a sheet detection sensor 53 which is disposed above a sheet S correctly stacked at the uppermost position on the discharge table 52, and detects a sheet S discharged from the discharge belt 51 toward the discharge table 52 within a detection range set so as to cross an upward position corresponding to a front end part Sf and a rear end part Sb of the sheet S correctly stacked on the discharge table 52; and a control unit 15 which determines that erroneous discharge has occurred to the sheet S discharged from the discharge belt 51 toward the discharge table 52 when the sheet detection sensor 53 detects the sheet S.
