Abstract:
To provide a disorder marker reflecting a kidney disease and to provide a method (diagnostic method) for detecting the kidney disease by utilizing the disorder marker, and a method for screening a substance effective as a prophylactic, improving or therapeutic medicine for kidney diseases.
A polynucleotide having continuing at least 15 bases in a base sequence of a chondrolectin gene and/or a polynucleotide which is complementary to the polynucleotide is utilized as the disorder marker for the kidney disease.
