To provide a displacement control valve for a variable displacement compressor capable of efficiently returning lubrication oil in a refrigerant to a crank chamber with simple structure.
A valve element 2 is disposed in a refrigerant passage which communicates a delivery chamber of the variable displacement compressor and the crank chamber so as to seat on from the crank chamber, and opens/closes the refrigerant passage. A valve seat 5a seated by the valve element 2 and a valve hole 5 are formed along with a through-hole 6 as a communication passage communicating the delivery chamber side and the crank chamber side in a valve seat forming member 3. When a solenoid part is driven and the valve element 2 is pressed to a piston rod 8 to become a closed state, the refrigerant from the delivery chamber side flows into the crank chamber side through the through-hole 6. The lubrication oil can be returned into the variable displacement compressor even the valve element 2 is closed thereby.
