Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove a waste fiber with ease, by removing an obstacle guide bar which is displaceable with a finger to eliminate the waste fiber wound around a rotary end feeder drum, and by holding and pulling the fiber at the root of a vane with the finger.

CONSTITUTION: The table 5 is provided with one guide arm 8 and drop preventing arm 10 for 10 or more rotary end feeders, and the end feed yarn guide bar 11 is inserted into the long hole 7 of the arm 8. The drop preventing bar 12 extending from the bar 11 is then inserted into the cut hole 9 of the arm 10. The fed end yarn 13 is wound around the drum 2 by the bar 11 at a position a little above the vane 3 far under the grooved pulley 1 of the drum 2. The end yarn 13 is then eliminated readily by pulling the end of the yarn 13 due to one vane 3. The guide bar 11 can be lifted lightly by the hand, and will not disturb the operation in eliminating the end yarn (waste fiber) 13.
