Abstract:
To provide a light-emitting device which has low power consumption and a simple manufacturing process and is suitable to respond to demands for higher definition or a larger substrate.SOLUTION: The light-emitting device includes: a layer having alight-shielding property to visible light; a conductive layer that partially overlaps the layer having a light-shielding property to visible light; a color filter layer having an opening on the layer having a light-shielding property to visible light; a first electrode layer on the color filter, which is connected to the conductive layer via the opening and has a light-transmitting property to visible light; an insulating partition wall on the first electrode layer overlapping the opening; a layer comprising an organic compound on the first electrode layer and the partition wall; and a second electrode layer on the layer comprising an organic compound. The layer comprising an organic compound includes: a layer comprising a donor substance and an acceptor substance; and a layer comprising a light-emitting organic compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
