Abstract:
To suppress precisely a situation where display irregularities are generated on a display panel, regardless of characteristics or driving conditions of the display panel.
An up-counter 12 counts the number of pixels emitting light during one horizontal scanning of an EL display panel, and outputs the count result as an addressing signal of an EEPROM 13. Data maps MAP1, MAP2 in which pulse width data are written on plural addresses corresponding to count ranges of the up-counter 12 are memorized in the EEPROM 13. A signal generation device 15 outputs a blank signal BLK for determining the pulse width of a data voltage, based on the addressed pulse width data by the up- counter 12.
