The document management server 10 generates a new duplicate ID which corresponds to a child to a duplicate ID designated at the time of access request as a parent, provides the new duplicate ID generated for updating the duplicate ID to the transmitter of the access request, and adds correspondence information of the new duplicate ID, the duplicate ID corresponding to the parent of the new duplicate ID, and providing destination information of the new duplicate ID to history information in response to derivation of the new duplicate ID. A mail server 40 generates, upon detection of providing of a duplicate ID owned by a providing source to a providing destination, a new duplicate ID corresponding to a child of the owned duplicate ID as the parent, substitutes the duplicate ID to be provided to the providing destination by the new duplicate ID, and notifies correspondence information of the new duplicate ID to be provided to the providing destination, the owned duplicate ID and providing destination information for the providing destination to the document management server 10.
