The dolly 1 for transporting baggages is equipped with the handle 17 attached to an arm 14 protruding from the chassis 4 and motors 18 capable of driving casters 11. The driving force of the motor 18 is increased or decreased in accordance with the size of the operating force E which the operator 16 enters from the handle 17. The bottom of the arm 14 is pivoted on the chassis 4 so that the arm 14 can make reciprocative rotations A and B directed down backward. The dolly 1 is furnished with a jack 36 coupled interlocking with the arm 14 and capable of raising G the chassis 4 by the reciprocative rotations A and B of the arm 14. The driving force is emitted from the motor 18 in accordance with the size of the operating force E directed in the longitudinal direction of the arm 14.
