Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fallen snow to decrease countermeasure against fallen snow from a roof when large scale facilities provided with roofs are erected in a heavy snow fall region.
SOLUTION: A dome roof 1 is divided to the central roof part 2 and the outer peripheral roof part 3 through a boundary part 4 and the roof inclination of the outer peripheral roof part 3 is formed so that fallen snow can slide thereon. The fallen snow on the central roof part 2 is left as it is and also it is prevented from sliding over the boundary part from the central roof part 2. The outer peripheral roof part 3 s circumferentially divided to many small blocks 3a. The roof of respective small blocks is formed with stepped roofing materials 21. Snow stoppers 22, 31 to prevent snow from sliding down are provided on the central roof part. A snow-stopping member 31 or a snow-stopping step is provided at the boundary part. And a roof drain 32 or a drain groove to drain thawed snow is provided at the boundary part and also heaters are provided in the drain groove. A thawing means may be provided on the central roof part 2.
