PURPOSE: To improve safety by a method wherein after a manually incompletely- closed door is detected, the door is automatically fully closed with the aid of a motor and simultaneously a keyless lock is operated for unlocking, and even during fully closing operation, a door is manually released during the occurrence of emergency.

CONSTITUTION: An automobile door is manually incompletely closed and by means of a signal outputted in linkage with detection of incomplete closing 2, a motor is operated to automatically bring the door into a fully closed state and simultaneously, by means of the detection signal, a keyless lock is released 4 from operation. Even during operation of automatic full closing 3, during the occurrence of emergency, such as a nip of an object by a door, the door is immediately opened through manual operation 10. This constitution enables improvement of safety.
