Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle device that can display a state relating to an object to which a door handle is attached.SOLUTION: A door handle device 1, which is attached to a vehicle 3, is manipulated by an occupant of the vehicle 3 for operating a vehicle door 5. The door handle device 1 includes a handle 17 and a display portion 18. The handle 17 is so located outside the vehicle door 5 to be manipulated by the occupant of the vehicle 3 to operate the vehicle door 5. The display unit 18 is so provided at a position of the handle 16 so as to be visible from the outside of the handle 16. Also, the display unit 18 displays the state of the vehicle door 5 (a character string of OPEN being indicative of an unlocked state and a character string of CLOSE being indicative of the locked state).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
