PURPOSE: To lock or unlock a door lock device from the outside of a door after a cylinder lock is locked at the time of an outing by rocking an arm with a drive device operated by an optical means.

CONSTITUTION: This door lock device is constituted of an arm 9 rockably fitted to a door 1 via a base plate 10 and screwing an aperture adjusting nut 13 to a screw section 17 on the free end side and a stop metal fitting 3 fitted to a wall 2 integrally provided with a ring 12 having a slit on a base plate 11. A laser beam is emitted from an oscillator 6 toward an observation window 8 from the outside of the door 1, and a control signal is sent to a solenoid 4 via a reflecting mirror 7 and a switch device 5 to drive the solenoid 4. The arm 9 is racked via a rod 14 connected to the operation bar 16 of the solenoid 4, and the flat section 18 of the arm 9 is inserted into the ring 12 from the slit for locking.
