To obtain a surely locked state by reducing an actuated portion, associated with an opening operation, to the utmost and preventing an unreasonable force from acting on each portion, even when the opening operation of an inside handle is performed in the case where a lock knob is in a locking position.
A single push-pull cable 5 for connecting an inside operation device 1 and a door latch device 100 together transmits an unlocking operation of the lock knob 4 to an inside lever 126 so as to shift the inside lever 126 to an unlocking position, and transmits a locking operation of the lock knob 4 to the inside lever 126 so as to shift the inside lever 126 to a locking position. When the lock knob 4 is in the unlocking position, the opening operation of the inside handle 3 is transmitted to the inside lever 126 as the lock knob 4 is kept in the unlocking position, so as to shift the inside lever 126 in an opening direction from the unlocking position. When the lock knob 4 is in the locking position, the opening operation of the inside handle 3 is not transmitted to the inside lever 126 as the lock knob 4 is kept in the locking position.
