PURPOSE: To automatically switch the reception channel of a customer television receiver to the channel of a signal from a television camera at a hallway by the call operation of the hallway.

CONSTITUTION: A camera 1 is operated by the call operation of the operating part 3 of a hallway part A, and outputted video signal is modulated to a high frequency signal at an RF modulation part 2, and is mixed in a co-audio line 7, and is transmitted to a receiver 9. A signal identifying the hallway where the call operation is performed is sent out by the call operation via an HPBX 10. The signal is discriminated by a discrimination part 15, and the reception channel of the receiver 9 is switched to the channel of the signal from the hallway part A by the signal sent out from a remote control signal generating part 16 based on the above discrimination, and the image of the hallway is displayed. The HPBX 10 sends out a call signal to a telephone set 11, and the telephone set 11 is connected by switching to a doorphone 4 by performing the off-hook of the telephone set 11, and speech can be performed, and the channel of the receiver 9 can be returned by performing off-hook.
