PURPOSE: To stabilize multi-web tension by providing needle-shaped protrusions for increasing a coefficient of friction toward a web with slight piercing in the surface of the web to be protruded from the peripheral surface of a drag roller on a triangular plate.

CONSTITUTION: Webs (a) to (d), fed out from respective paper feed parts are printed in respective printing parts. Also already printed the webs (a) to (d), are guided between a drag roller 1 and a retaining roller 2 in a triangular plate fold part 12, mutually piled together, folded by a fold machine here and discharged in formed of newspapers. Now a needle-shaped protrusion 25 protruding outward in a radial direction from the peripheral surface of the drag roller 1, slightly pierces the surface of the web (d) in the lowermost layer out of the webs (a) to (d) so as to increase a coefficient of friction toward the webs (t). Thus, multi-web tension can be stabilized.
