PURPOSE: To simplify the exhaustion of the waste in the drier for cellulose ribbon-producing machine that is provided with at least two rows of drying units by setting the position at which the ribbon to be dried is transferred from the supporting belt of the preceding drier to that of the following drier in the lower range.
CONSTITUTION: This drier comprises the drying units 160/161, 162/163, 164/165, 166/167 equipped with the supporting belts 171-175, respectively. The ribbon always runs through all of the two rows of the drying units 162/163, 164/165, 166/167 from downward to upward at first, then from upward to downward. The ribbon-transferring position where a ribbon is transferred from one supporting belt to the following one is arranged in the lower range of the drying area.
