Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drier of a paper machine, capable of preventing breakage of paper of a web caused by sticking, by eliminating temperature differences between the web and drier rolls, without lowering temperatures of the drier rolls, and capable of suppressing a length of its machine body, by enhancing its drying capacity.
SOLUTION: In this drier of the paper machine, a heating-up part 100 is newly installed at an inlet of a drying part 101 composed of many drier rolls 131a to 134c, so that the web W which is dehydrated in a press part is passed through the heating-up part 100 at first and then heated in a highly humid atmosphere. Further, the web W whose temperature is risen by being heated in the heating-up part 100 is fed into the drying part 101, then passed through and consecutively suspended by the drier rolls 131a to 134c together with a canvas 151, so that the web W is dried.
