Abstract:
To provide a drier of a web capable of correcting a curl without damaging the characteristics such as a low density and a high air permeability to provide a sheet having the characteristics of the low density and the high air permeability and further having a good curl characteristics, and further to provide the drying method therefor.
This drier of a web in a paper machine has a suction band type through-air drier 2 and a cylinder drier 3 arranged in the latter step of the through-air drier 2. The water content of a sheet is regulated so as to be 10-30% by the suction band type through-air drier 2 and further dried so that the water content of the web may be 0-8% by a cylinder drier 3.
