Title:
DRILLING CHIP TREATING DEVICE FOR DRILLING TOOL STAND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3250046
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently recover drilling chips without scattering by extending bellows in the axial direction from the bottomed cylindrical body of a boring chip collecting part.
CONSTITUTION: A drilling tool stand 1 on which a drilling tool 50 is fixed is erected on a floor or the like and while an extension pole 4 is pressed in the extension direction by a pressing means 5 the tip of drill edge 5 of the drilling tool 50 is pressed at the drilling position of a ceiliing 2a or the like. The tip opening of bellows 26 of a drilling chip collection part 7 is pressed accordingly around the drilling position centering the drill edge 53. Then, the drilling tool 50 is driven while the power is put on through a remote switch or the like, and drilling is carried out while the pressing condition is maintained by rotating the drilling part. The chips generated at that time is prevented by a bellow 26 from being scattered and drop into a bottomed cylindrical body 24, and collected therein. Thereafter it is flowed and dropped into the extension pole 4 from a communication pipe 27, and discharged.
