Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cutting chip from springing and scattering over a surface, by providing a scrap catcher, capturing the cutting chip, generated in the case of drilling a through hole in a drilled workpiece, prevented from dropping to be made storable, in a cover unit.
SOLUTION: A total unit of a drilling tool is pressed to a wall material 8, in a condition positioning a scrap catcher 7h in the downward, while drive rotating a handy type rotary drive tool, when the total unit of the drilling tool is further pressed to be continued, a tip end 2c of a center shaft 2 is left as advanced in a surface of the wall material 8, only a drilling edge 4 is advanced, partly one side of, for instance, a wiring box main unit 9a arranged in a wall reverse can be made to appear in a wall surface. Here, a total unit of a cover unit 7 prevents springing scattering of a cutting chip generated in the case of drilling a through hole in the wall material 8, the cutting chip is captured in the scrap catcher 7h, while stored, the through hole can be drilled.
