PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a motor as soon as possible when power supply from a power source stops.SOLUTION: A drive control device comprises: a motor driving unit including an inverter circuit 2 connected between each phase coil of a brushless motor 20 and a DC power source Vd; a clamp circuit 30 for clamping the voltage of the positive electrode of the DC power supply Vd to a predetermined limit voltage according to the input clamp signal S3; and a control circuit unit 5 for outputting a drive control signal or a reverse rotation braking signal to the motor driving unit according to the voltage value obtained by detecting the voltage of the DC power supply Vd, and in accordance with this voltage value, outputting a clamp signal S3 for instructing clamping operation to clamp circuit 30, the control circuit unit 5 being supplied with power from a constant voltage source 11 obtained by constant-voltage-converting the voltage of the direct-current power supply Vd.
