Abstract:
To provide a drive control method of a loom, capable of reducing a load applied to a main shaft driving device at starting of the loom in which the driving of a driving motor in the main shaft driving device for driving a main shaft is controlled so that the main shaft at a steady operation is rotationally driven according to a preset rotational speed.SOLUTION: A starting rotational speed set to a speed lower than a preset rotational speed is set in advance. The starting rotational speed is set in consideration of the load on a main shaft driving device and is equal to or lower than the preset rotational speed or equal to or more than 25% of the preset rotational speed. In the starting of the loom from a time point of the start to a time point when the rotational speed of the main shaft reaches the preset rotational speed, a driving motor is controlled so that: the starting is performed with a weft insertion in a start-up period over one cycle or more of the loom; the control of the driving motor from the time point of the start is performed based on the starting rotational speed; and the rotational speed of the main shaft increases from the starting rotational speed to the preset rotational speed in accordance with a predetermined rotational speed increasing mode after the time point when the rotational speed of the main shaft reaches the starting rotational speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
