Abstract:
To properly take measures for avoiding a risk in a system-entity risk avoidance support mode while supporting drive so that an operation amount of a driver becomes adequate while maintaining an independence feeling of the driver, in a driver-entity normal drive support system.SOLUTION: A drive support system which can perform a driver-entity normal drive support mode as a drive support of a vehicle comprises: a reaction characteristic change part for changing a reaction characteristic of an operation part when it is determined that an operation amount of a driver is not included in an adequate operation amount range in the normal drive support mode; a manifest risk determination part for determining whether or not a manifest risk exists on the basis of an external environment of a vehicle; and a drive support changeover part for switching the drive support of the vehicle to a system-entity risk avoidance support mode from the normal drive support mode when it is determined that the manifest risk exists by the manifest risk determination part in the normal drive support mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
