To provide a driving device for permanent magnet synchronous motors capable of reducing the cost by suppressing a regeneration voltage generated when the permanent magnet synchronous motor is rotated forcibly without increase of the number of components, and to provide an air conditioner, a driving device for fans, a washing machine, an automobile, and a vehicle.
Inverter control means 50 varies a ratio between a time period in which a line between an inverter 40 and a permanent magnet synchronous motor 30 is opened and a time period in which the line between them is short-circuited, based on a deviation between a regeneration voltage detected by DC voltage detection means 90 and a DC voltage command value that is preliminarily set, at regeneration operation.
