Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washing and drying machine in which drying finish is improved.SOLUTION: The drum-type washing and drying machine includes: a drum for accommodating clothing; a motor for rotating the drum; a housing for supporting the drum; a door for closing an opening for loading the clothing; and means for blowing air into the drum, which means is disposed at the upper right in the housing when viewed from the door side. While the drum is repeatedly rotated clockwise and counterclockwise by the motor, air is blown to the clothing, which is lifted up by the rotation of the drum, to dry the clothing. An output from the means for blowing air is increased when the drum is rotated clockwise as compared with when the drum is rotated counterclockwise.
