Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum washing/drying machine in which laundry stuck to a drum during a dewatering operation may be easily taken off so as to improve drying efficiency without causing drying unevenness and to reduce power consumption.SOLUTION: A drum washing/drying machine comprises, in a housing, a drum rotated around a lateral axis and a water tub having the drum therein. After a centrifugally dewatering operation for laundry by rapidly rotating the drum, a drying operation for the laundry is executed by supplying drying air into the drum through a drying air duct, and the washing/drying machine further comprises, in addition to the drying air duct, an air duct provided with an air sending means through which air may be sent into the drum. The air duct has a through hole disposed above a rotation axis of the drum so that the air may be sent through a side face of the drum. A side-face air sending operation for sending air into the drum through the side face is performed after the dewatering operation.
