To provide a drum type washing and drying machine capable of shortening dewatering time by suppressing the unbalance of the distribution of clothes (laundry) during low-speed rotation when starting a dewatering operation and accelerating transition to dewatering rotation and shortening drying time by preventing the clothes from getting easily entangled and improving contact efficiency with hot air during a drying operation.
In the drum type washing and drying machine comprising a water tub 10 resiliently supported inside a box body 1 and a dewatering tub 20 freely rotatably supported inside the water tub 10, for which the hot air is sent from the bottom part 22 of the dewatering tub 20 into the dewatering tub 20, a projection part 26 projecting inside the dewatering tub 20 is provided on the center part of the bottom part 22 of the dewatering tub 20.
