To provide a drum-type washing and drying machine preventing reverse flow of bubble into an air blasting duct and minimizing the number of bubble detection sensors to be applied.
A drum-type washing and drying machine comprises: a water tank 2 that a rotating drum 1 driven by a motor 3 is disposed inside; a feed valve 4; a drain valve 5; a blower 7 having a fan motor 7a generating drying air; control means 6 for controlling the motor 3, the feed valve 4, the drain valve 5, and the fan motor 7a; an air blasting duct 8 which air sent into the water tank 2 passes through; an exhaust duct 9 which air exhausted from the water tank 2 passes through; a heat exchanging unit 10 for dehumidifying and heating the air wetted in the water tank 2; and sensors 11 for detecting ingress of bubble into the air blasting duct 8. The control means 6 can realize prevention of bubble backflow into the air blasting duct 8, reduction of a production cost, and space-saving in the product by executing an appropriate bubble prevention process on the basis of detection information by the only one pair of sensors 11, such as whether or not a contact with bubble is detected, detection time, and detection count.
