Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently wash off various types of dirt attached to laundry.SOLUTION: A drum type washing machine includes first heating means and second heating means for generating hot water or steam from water supply to a washing machine or a washing and drying machine, and at least one of them is capable of generating steam. At a washing start stage, after spraying high-concentration detergent in which a predetermined amount of detergent is dissolved onto laundry, steam is generated by one of the heating means and the laundry is heated efficiently. Meanwhile, by using the other heating means, water for additionally spraying onto the laundry afterward is heated in a water receiving part for forming a space different from the laundry. At the stage of a desired water temperature or elapse of predetermined time, the whole amount or a part of the heated water is sprayed onto the laundry.
