PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washing machine with which micronized water can efficiently infiltrate space among fibers of laundry.SOLUTION: A drum-type washing machine includes a water tank 5 provided in a box body 2 and supplied with washing water, a drum 6 provided in the water tank 5 in a lateral axis state where clothes are contained, a motor 7 for rotating and driving the drum 6, a circulation air channel for circulating air in a for-and-to direction in the drum 6, and an electrostatic atomizer 29 in which water is micronized by undergoing the Rayleigh-fission and supplied into the drum 6. The micronized water in the electrostatic atomizer 29 is supplied from an opening on the front surface of the drum 6 into the drum 6.
