Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine which has enhanced designability and which can prevent an incorrect operation due to an unintended operation while a lid body is in an open state.SOLUTION: A drum type washing machine includes: a body 1 having an opening 6 on a front surface; a lid body 9 for covering the opening 6 in an openable/closable manner; a detection switch 28 for detecting an opening/closing state of the lid body 9; an operation display part 16 having an operation part 22 for setting operation content and a display part 23 for displaying an operation state; and a control part for controlling the operation state by the setting of the operation display part 16. The lid body 9 is molded in a substantially rectangular shape for covering the front surface of the body 1, and the operation display part 16 is disposed on the upper surface of the lid body 9. The control part cannot receive an operation of the operation part 22 when the lid body 9 is in an open state based on the output of the detection switch 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
