PURPOSE: To make difficult the entrance of lint or the like at the joint part between a ringed balancer and an end plate, by a method wherein a drum is composed of a cylindrical body part, and the ringed balancer fixed to the end of that body part, and the end plate fixed to the end face of that balancer; and a recess fitted into the inner periphery of the balancer is integrally formed on the end plate.

CONSTITUTION: A drum 13 is formed of synthetic resin, and is composed of a cylindrical body part 18 with a bottom, and a fluid balancer 19 fixed to the open end part of the body part 18, and an end plate 20 fixed to the end face of the balancer 19. On the body part 18, a drawing inclination of about 1.5° is formed for the molding thereof, and the diameter thereof is gradually enlarged toward the open end thereof, at the closed end thereof. The balancer 19, hollow and ringed, is enclosed with a definite amount of brine and at the inside thereof, resistant members 21..., restricting the flow of the brine, are formed at regular intervals. In addition, recesses 22... formed along the inner periphery of the balancer 19 act as other resistant members. In this way, since the face of the end plate and the direction facing the joint part of the balancer intersects each other, lint or the like can be made difficult to be plugged at this part.
