To provide a drum washing/drying machine capable of securely actuating a motor in a dewatering step and reducing the power consumption by improving the motor efficiency.
The washing/drying machine has a washing step in which the motor is driven by an inverter device by the voltage control and the dewatering step in which the motor is driven by the field-weakening control. The motor has a first coil and a second coil divided on respective phases of a three-phase coil applied into a slot of a stator core. In the washing step, Y connection is composed by connecting the first coil and second coil on the respective phases in series and the motor is driven by the inverter device. In the dewatering step, the Y connection is composed by connecting the first coil and second coil on the respective phases parallel and the motor is driven by the inverter device by means of the field-weakening control. The plate thickness of a magnetic steel sheet constituting the stator core of the motor is not more than 0.3 mm to reduce the power consumption of the motor in the dewatering step.
