Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing and drying machine that can be installed in a limited space, but can exhibit high washing performance.SOLUTION: A drum type washing and drying machine includes: a drum 3 for storing clothing and having a rotation center being horizontal or inclined so as to be higher on an opening side; a motor 4 for rotationally driving the drum; and a housing 1 for supporting the drum. A lifter 3b is provided on an inner peripheral surface of the drum, and a lateral width of the housing is 610 mm or less and a depth dimension thereof is 730 mm or less. The machine blows warm air to the clothing in the drum, while repeating such a motion that the clothing is lifted by rotation of the drum and the lifter and is dropped by gravity force during a drying operation. A diameter D (mm) of the drum and a depth dimension Ld (mm) of the drum have a relation: 0.54≤(D/2)/Ld≤0.76, and the volume of the drum is 71 (litters) or more, and a rotating direction of the drum is reversed every 10 to 30 seconds of a rotating time of the drum during the drying operation.
