Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remarkably improve detergency of water-soluble stains without reducing the properties of dry cleaning, e.g. shrinkage of textile, disappearance of gloss and change of touch in comparison with the conventional dry cleaning method.
CONSTITUTION: In this dry cleaning method, a dry cleaning solvent prepared by adding 8 to 20wt.% water and 0.3 to 1.5wt.% condensate (number of ethylene oxide is 40 to 80) between a higher-alcohol (12 to 18C) and ethylene oxide to a 6 to 10C alcohol having one to three hydroxyl groups is used.
