Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent paper break at a dryer part of a papermaking machine in a high speed papermaking by suppressing the occurrence of sticking at the exit part of a dryer roll.
SOLUTION: This dryer vacuum box installed at the dryer part of the papermaking machine and effecting vacuum sucking force through a canvas 6 to a paper web traveling on a dryer roll 2 accompanied with the canvas 6 is provided by installing a first vacuum box 30 formed as a closed space containing the surface in the vicinity of peeling point leaving from the dryer roll 2 of the canvas 6 as a part of its inside surface, and joining the first vacuum box 30 with a vacuum source to make the inside of the first vacuum box as a predetermined degree of vacuum.
