Title:
DRYING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3022262
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain an increase in evaporating quantity during the high-temperature second half stage of drying operation and, thereby, enable avoidance of the danger of explosion, by controlling so that the drying temperature is low in the first half stage of drying operation and is raised in the second half stage and, if the liquid removing step prior to the drying step has accomplished sufficient liquid removal, shortening the operation time of the first half stage.
SOLUTION: A dry cleaner washes clothing by supplying a solvent from a tank 1 to a wash-dry chamber 2 by a pump 7 and rotating a drum 3. After the wash, the solvent is removed from the clothing centrifugally by rotating the drum 3 at a high speed. The washing apparatus is provided with a liquid removal condition-detecting means. If insufficient liquid removal is detected, the time length of low-temperature drying operation is set to a first predetermined time. If sufficient liquid removal is detected and the washing object is not supplied with a process liquid containing a flammable solvent, the low-temperature drying operation time is set to a second predetermined time that is shorter than a predetermined time. Conversely, if the washing object is supplied with a flammable solvent-containing process liquid, the low- temperature drying operation time is set so that it becomes longer than the second predetermined time.
